Nintendo Museum Privacy Policy

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "Nintendo") has adopted the following privacy policy (hereinafter, "Policy") in regard to the handling of information provided to Nintendo for the purpose of using its services.
You must consent to Policy before using such services. Said Policy is an agreement between you and Nintendo and applies to all users of the service.

When agreeing to this Policy, read all the following Policy provisions carefully. In addition, to use these services, you must agree to the Nintendo Museum Terms and Conditions separately stipulated by Nintendo, and this Policy forms part of that agreement.

If you are a minor, it is not possible for you to consent to Policy yourself. Please be sure to have a legal representative, such as your parent or guardian, consents to Policy on your behalf.

#1. Customer information acquired by Nintendo
In the course of providing this service, Nintendo shall acquire the following information from you.

1.1 Information provided by you as part of the ticket sales process
1.1.1 Information provided by you directly to Nintendo
When you use the ticket sales process, Nintendo shall acquire certain information provided by you. Furthermore, if you distribute a ticket you have purchased to a companion, the system shall also obtain information about the customer to whom the ticket is to be distributed, as entered by you. This may include information such as your name, telephone number, address, language used, and the design of the entry ticket used, as well as contact information.

1.1.2 Information related to your device and connection environment
Nintendo shall acquire the product model, browser language settings, and IP address, etc. from your information terminal.

1.1.3 Information related to your purchase
Nintendo may obtain information about the payment made by you when you purchase tickets on the ticket sales service (this may include credit card number, payment amount, payment method, payment currency, payment date and time) and about the type and number of tickets purchased, as well as the date and time of your visit.

1.1.4 Sensitive personal information
When you sign up to purchase tickets, enter a draw, or distribute tickets to your guests in the ticket sales service, Nintendo may obtain information on any physical, mental, or other accessibility needs based on your input. 1.1.6 Information on refunds
If Nintendo refunds the price of your ticket to you in accordance with the Nintendo Museum Terms and Conditions, Nintendo shall obtain any information from you required to make such refund.

1.1.7 Cookies
Nintendo may use cookies (and similar technology) when you utilize our services. Cookies are small data files that are downloaded to your information terminal. Nintendo uses cookies to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the functionality provided by the service and obtain information about your preferred settings.

1.2 Information acquired by Nintendo when using these facilities
1.2.1 Information related to movement within the facilities
When you use your ticket to enter and leave the facilities and when you use your ticket to interact with the facility exhibits and use the equipment within the facilities, Nintendo obtains certain information about your behavior. This information includes such things as the type of ticket used, the date and time of entry and exit from the museum, as well as the date and time the exhibits were experienced, services used, and the number of experiences and your records.

1.2.2 Information related to photos and videos taken within the facilities
Nintendo may take photos and video footage of customers when you experience the exhibits at the facilities. Surveillance cameras are also installed in the premises for the purpose of crime prevention and ensuring customer safety. We handle such information captured by surveillance cameras appropriately in accordance with this Policy and delete them after a certain period of time.

1.2.3 Information related to purchases within the facilities
Nintendo may obtain the following information from you in case you purchase a service or product offered by Nintendo within the facilities:

- Customer information provided directly to Nintendo by you: name, etc.
- Settlement-related information credit card no., settlement amount, means of settlement, currency used for settlement, date/time of settlement, etc.
- Information related to purchased services and products, service/product type, content, quantity, and date/time of use, etc.

#2. Purpose of using the information
Nintendo shall use the customer information as set out in Article 1 for the following purposes. This includes analysis of the information acquired for the purposes set forth in this Article. In addition, Nintendo shall also obtain your consent before using your information for purposes other than those set forth in this Policy. However, this does not apply in cases where such information is required under the law.

2.1 Provision of these services

2.4 PR, advertising and marketing
Nintendo may analyze your information, and use it for the provision of information related to the business and products of us or third parties. This includes provision of information for the introduction of functions relevant to individual customer, proposals and offering of content customised for each customer, as well as the provision of customer-specific advertising and promotional material (by means of posting on web pages, etc. or sending emails, etc.). Additionally, Nintendo and third parties (including the media) authorized by Nintendo may use photographs and videos of customers taken at the facilities for the purpose of PR, advertising, and promotion.

2.5 Provision of Nintendo account services
If you utilize the ticket sales service, Nintendo may use your information for the purposes of providing and maintaining the Nintendo Account service, as well as protecting us and other customers, and investigating and preventing illegal activities and other breaches of our terms of service. This may include sending notifications to the email address registered with your Nintendo Account regarding these services and the Nintendo Account services using the information acquired by this service.

2.6 Handling inquiries
Nintendo may use this information to resolve any problems you contact us about that you encounter while using the services. Your email address and other information you provide may be used to respond to your inquiries, to notify you of any changes to our terms and conditions, to notify you of changes or improvements to the services, and to provide you with information about other services Nintendo offers.

2.7 Information provided by Nintendo
If Nintendo deems it necessary for business reasons, such as to notify of temporary closure of the facilities or changes to the content of the exhibits, Nintendo may contact your telephone number or email address or other contact details.

2.8 Crime prevention and securing customer safety
Your information and the images captured by our surveillance cameras may be used for crime prevention and other security purposes.

2.9 Preparation and provision of non-specific information
Provided that the information is in a form that by itself does not personally identify you and cannot be matched with external information in the normal course of events, and on stipulating that the identification of specific individuals on the basis of such information is prohibited, Nintendo may provide your information to third parties, such as our business partners, to improve the convenience of our or third parties' operations and products or to provide reference to new products and services, etc.

2.10 Creation and provision of statistical information
Nintendo may process your information into a statistical format that does not identify you as an individual. In addition to displaying on the screens of the exhibits the photographs and videos taken by customers and data such as scores and number of coins held by the customer, Nintendo may share such data with customers who have taken pictures at the same time and have linked their Nintendo Account to the service as stipulated in Article 2.1.

3.4 When obtaining the consent of the customer
Nintendo may provide your information to a third party after obtaining your consent.

3.5 When based on the law
Nintendo may provide your information to third parties without your consent if required by law.
